The first overall pick of the 1987 draft who did not turn out to be the saviour of the franchise everyone had hoped. Started the final few games of his rookie season and was then handed the keys to the franchise by Ray Perkins in 1988 when he was just not ready to do it. Lost his starting job during both 1990 and 1991 and was allowed to leave after the 1992 season going on to a long NFL career with the likes of the Browns, Jets and Panthers. Had a memorable game against Green Bay in 1992 when he was 21 of 23 for 363 yards and three TDs. Remains the only Buc QB with a 100-yard rushing game.
