Only 10 players have ever worn this number for the Buccaneers and seeing how one of them was a no-good, drug-taker, then the choice for our best-ever to wear 92 was a pretty easy one. After Sean Smith wore the number for three games in 1989, it was worn by Dexter Manley for most of the 1991 season until he was once again suspended by the NFL for substance abuse. It was a low day in the club's history when we signed him off the street to play for the Buccaneers.Shawn Price had some nice moments with the Bucs before moving on to other things with Buffalo whilst Brian Price showed some flashes of real pass-rush and run-stopping ability in his first two Buccaneer seasons but remained an injury-plagued enigma until he was traded to Chicago before the start of the 2012 training camp. Current owner William Gholston has played over a decade for the Bucs but cannot match Anthony “Booger” McFarland who toiled in the shadow of Warren Sapp for the first half of his Buc career and even wound up missing the Super Bowl through injury but was one of the best defensive tackles in Buccaneer history.BEST EVER TO WEAR No.92 FOR THE BUCS - ANTHONY McFARLAND
