Was a Buccaneer briefly during 1987 having played against Tampa Bay for San Diego in the second week of the strike games and set an opposing team
franchise record for QB completion percentage in the Chargers' win. The Bucs wound up signing him to the roster in December some two months after the
strike ended but he never actually played in a game. Went on to become a successful college coach at Washington, Colorado and UCLA.
