Spent three unremarkable seasons as a back-up receiver under Sam Wyche who never lived up to his draft billing and was released at the same time as he had some off-field issues. Wound up playing another couple of seasons for Jimmy Johnson in Miami and had 43 receptions and five touchdowns in 1998, his final actual action in the NFL. Was overshone by his college team-mate and fellow 1993 draft pick, Horace Copeland.
