Had previously served as Defensive Co-Ordinator for the previous three seasons and was head coach of the New York Jets from 2015-18 and also had a 2-1 record as the interim head coach of the Dolphins in 2011.Played eight seasons in the NFL, seven with the Washington Redskins then a year with the 49ers.
