Veteran NFL safety who was released by the Giants during the 1983 season and was picked up by the Bucs and led the team in interceptions despite playing only half a season, Started for all of 1984 but retired in 1985 after being released by the Bucs to begin a long career in the media. Started over 90 games in his NFL career having originally been drafted in a 9th round pick of the Cowboys in 1976 as a receiver as much as a defensive back.
