The Bucs beat the Saints for the third consecutive time, the first time in franchise history they had done that. They also held New Orleans to under 200 yards for the first time in 63 meetings and relied on three Baker Mayfield touchdown passes to move to 3-1 and the lead in the NFC South division. Antone Winfield was everywhere on defense as the Saints were held without a touchdown. The Bucs lost Mike Evans to a hamstring injury in the first half but the other receivers stepped up.
