On Monday Night Football, the Bucs looked good for all of a quarter. Then Bruce Gradkowski threw his first interception in 147 attempts and the Panthers took over to drop the Bucs to 2-7. Ronde Barber tied the franchise record of 31 interceptions held by Donnie Abraham when he picked off Jake Delhomme. Barber also stripped the ball from former Buc Keyshawn Johnson in the first quarter to set up the Buc touchdown.
