The four-game winning streak to open the season came to an
end in the Big Apple as former Buc QB Vinny Testaverde led
the Jets to success against his old team. There was not a lot
of offense in this one, the Bucs being limited to four fieldgoals
with a conservative gameplan without Cadillac in the backfield.
Brian Griese was ineffective and the good play of the Tampa
defense ended up going to waste.
