Gramatica fieldgoals and a late defensive lapse meant the
season was finally lost. The final miss came inside the two-
minute warning with the score tied at 14-14. It was not even
close and the Panthers took full advantage completing the
job with 20 seconds remaining. Michael Pittman had one of
the best receiving days by a back in franchise history.
