Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38 Minnesota Vikings 24Sunday 3 November 2002 at Raymond James StadiumFOX COMMENTARY CREWKenny Albert and Tim Green
The previous two seasons had seen the Bucs break out of a scoring drought by bringing Minnesota into town and 2002 was no difference as Brad Johnson returned from injury to tie a franchise record with five scoring passes in this rout of the Vikings. Keyshawn Johnson had two of the touchdowns and amassed 133 yards on nine receptions, whilst Mike Alstott did his ball control thing during the second half, also catching the fifth and final touchdown pass of the game from Brad to seal the Tampa Bay scoring, Vikings’ QB Daunte Culpepper was picked off twice and sacked three times as the Buc defense made the key plays when they needed to.
