Eric Dickerson had his second huge game against the Bucs and went over 200 yards with his overtime game-winner from the Buc 42-yard line. Tampa Bay had tied the game at the end of regulation when Steve Young led a drive that started from the Buc one-foot line that culminated in Donald Igwebuike's 37-yard FG. Nathan Wonsley had his second 100-yard game of the year, including a 59-yard TD run that tied the score after the Rams had taken an early lead.
