3rd quarter TDs by Jeff Chadwick and Garry James blew open a close game and helped the Lions keep their
slim hopes of a play-off berth alive. The Bucs had early chances to take the lead but Donald Igwebuike missed
a 37-yard FG attempt and the Bucs also failed to score after Scot Brantley's interception had given them the
ball at the Detroit 43-yard line. Another drive stalled at the Lion 11 when they fumbled, and they could get no
closer than two scores in the fourth quarter in spite of James Wilder gaining over 200 yards rushing/receiving
on the day. Lion QB Chuck Long threw a TD pass on his first pro attempt.
