Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13 Chicago Bears 14 Saturday 20 September 1980 at Tampa Stadium CBS COMMENTARY CREW Gary Bender and John Madden
Garo Yepremian's 32-yard fieldgoal was blocked by Alan Page with 40 seconds remaining and hence cost the Bucs a final victory. Doug Williams threw for over 300 yards for the fourth time this season, 138 of them to rookie Kevin House who finished the season in tremendous form. But again turnovers killed the Bucs, three fumbles being lost in Bear territory, two of them by Tampa receivers when in fieldgoal range.
