COMMENTARY CREW

Amazingly this one was scoreless at half-time too. But after the Bucs took the lead on a 72-yard three-play drive to open
the second half, the Saints scored on six straight possessions to make it a blowout. No other team in 1979 scored more
than three TDs on the Bucs, yet New Orleans somehow doubled that number in one half. The Saints gained over 230
yards rushing on the day as the Tampa offense totally came unglued after their early lead.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS Click on the boxes below to watch the clip
Ricky Bell had a nice run on a draw play during a miserable offensive day
Mike Rae came off the bench to throw a late touchdown pass to Jimmie Giles
