Profile
Former starter at free safety who had his third straight season playing only on special teams' coverage units before being placed on IR. Was a special teams' captain for 2009. Made two starts whilst Tanard Jackson was suspended and Jermaine Phillips had been placed on IR. Had started every game in 2006 at free safety and also started eight games during 2005 at both free and strong safety through injuries to Jermaine Phillips and Dexter Jackson, but also missed three games himself through injury. Switched to the No.26 jersey for the 2005 season having worn 37 as a rookie. Left after the 2009 season as a free agent to join the Pittsburgh Steelers.
