Washington Redskins
All-time record: 9-8 (8-7 in the regular season)
The Bucs and Redskins have met almost every season since 1993, the point at which Washington had stretched their winning streak over the Buccaneers to five games. But two wins in December 1994 bucked that trend, and recent games between the two franchises have been close affairs, most notably the 1999 Divisional Playoff game in Tampa that the Bucs only won when former Buc lineman Dan Turk sent down a bad snap on a potential game winning fieldgoal. The loss in Washington the previous season had curtailed Tampa's late run for the post-season that year, whilst the 1982 game was played on one of the wettest days ever in the Bay Area and featured more fumbles than most pundits could remember. The 2003 win came six days after the Bucs' MNF meltdown to the Colts and featured a 28-point second half as Brad Johnson threw four touchdown passes against his old team.
