| Dave Moore First TD pass in upset win Mile High Stadium 26 December 1993 The background The Bucs were 4-10 during Sam Wyche's second season as head coach and the novelty act of substituting the whole offensive line, trick plays and off-field stunts was wearing thin with Tampa Bay fans. Veteran Steve DeBerg had been released and the offense was under the leadership of first-year starter Craig Erickson. And for their final road game of the season, the Bucs had to travel to Denver to take on the Broncos at the height of Elway-mania even if Horse Face himself was still a few seasons away from his Super Bowl moments. The game situation The Bucs were trailing 7-0 early in the second quarter when they were inside the Denver 20. Craig Erickson dropped back to pass and somehow avoided a certain sack from a Bronco defender. He rifled a pass to the left side of the endzone and Dave Moore made his first TD reception for the Buccaneers, another 23 of which would follow during his long NFL career.
