Warrick's 200-yard day
Raymond James Stadium
3 December 2000

The background
The Bucs were heavily favoured to win the NFC in 2000 and go one step further than they did the year before in losing to the Rams in the title game. But after a 3-0 start, things had started to go wrong for the Buc offense led by Shaun King and Keyshawn Johnson, and now Tony Dungy's team was in a battle just to make the playoffs at all.

For their Week 13 match-up, the Bucs played host to a Dallas Cowboy team featuring a beat-up Troy Aikman on his way to the Fox Commentary booth and a long way past the glory days of Jimmy Johnson from the early 1990s.

The game situation
The Bucs led 3-0 early on a FUAT fieldgoal and had the ball at their own 24-yard line. A hand-off to Warrick Dunn and 76 yards later, it was 10-0. This was Dunn's 210-yard game and he would have easily broken James Wilder's franchise record for yards in a game had he not sat out the 4th quarter in what turned into one of the easiest wins the Buccaneers have ever had over the Cowboys.
