| The Monday Night miracle Raymond James Stadium 18 December 2000 The background Shaun King only had one full season as the Bucs' quarterback before his lack of arm strength caused the offense to fall apart around him. But he did manage to have three plays inside the Top 40 of our countdown and this one inside the Top 5. The Bucs had lost to the Rams in the NFC title game the previous year and hence a penultimate game re-match on Monday Night Football was too good for ABC to pass up. The 38-35 shootout that ensued was forseen by no-one after the 11-6 defensive struggle that had taken place in the Trans World Dome previously. The game situation The Bucs were trailing 35-31 with 1:48 left and they faced 2nd and 10 from their own 35-yard line. Warrick Dunn actually lost 14 yards on the play before lateralling to King and his run, plus a 15-yard personal foul penalty took the Bucs into scoring range from which Dunn finished the job.
