The unstoppable A-Train
Raymond James Stadium
13 October 2002

The background
Mike Alstott may been one of the best power runners in recent NFL memory, but he only had seven 100-yard games in his entire career. This game against Cleveland in 2002 was one of them and all but five of those yards came in the second half.

There was one memorable drive in this game in which he ran the ball on every play leading to the final touchdown in this easy victory.

The A-Train whistles were blowing loud round Tampa by the end of this game, one that I was fortunate enough to be at as a guest of the Glazer family.

The game situation
The Bucs are leading 17-3 in the fourth quarter and are just trying to run out the clock. Alstott takes a hand-off, heads right and pretty much shakes off an attemped tackle from each member of the Cleveland defense on his way to a 19-yard gain.
