Profile
Played three seasons with the Bucs as a back-up running back and special teamer having been obtained in a trade with the Bengals prior to the 1979 season. Played in the 1983 USFL season with the Boston Breakers and ranked second on the team with 443 yards rushing and six TDs, whilst also catching 42 balls for another 260 yards. Originally a 4th round pick of the Bengals in 1976, he spent three seasons in Cincinnati and was named team MVP in 1977 for his outstanding special teams play. Was nicknamed "Tough Tony" by Coach John McKay, a moniker he disliked as it made him a target of the opposing special teams' squads.
