Signed as a free agent late in the 2003 season and played the final four games of the season on the special teams' squads. Was an option quarterback at Nebraska but always projected as a defensive safety in the pro game. Was originally drafted in the 3rd round in 1998 by the New York Jets and also saw time with Cleveland and Green Bay. Was released in training camp 2004 and never played in the NFL again. Worked his way through the college ranks as a coach and became head coach at Nebraska in 2018.
