Had a great start to his NFL career when he returned a kickoff 57 yards in his debut, the then-longest kick return in team history. Was primarily a kick return specialist during his three-year Buc career, but saw a fair amount of playing time as a receiver in 1986 after House was cut and again in 1987 when his season was hampered by knee and hamstring injuries. Never played in the NFL again after being released by the Bucs.
