Served as the Bucs' kick return specialist for three seasons but never really had a chance to show his rushing skills in that time. Released in camp in 1985
and played briefly that year as a kick returner for the Redskins. Burst onto the season in the 1982 pre-season where he led the team with 233 yards rushing
including an 80-yard TD against Philadelphia. Originally wore the 1 shirt as a rookie and also in his second season but switched to No.20 in 1984.
