Played four seasons with the Bucs, starting most of those games at strong safety but never being blessed with great speed and played the run a lot better than he did the pass. Became a starter as a rookie and played alongside Tony Covington in an inexperienced Buc secondary in 1991. Slowly became a vocal team leader in his four years before continuing his career elsewhere as a free agent and wound up starting over 150 games in the NFL playing for Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit.
