Started every game he played for the Bucc until being traded to the Rams in October 2014 when it was clear his style of safety play did not suit the Cover 2
defense that the Bucs began to operate in 2014. Hence having been the seventh overall pick of the 2012 draft will have to be seen as a wasted pick in terms
of performance from such a high draft position. Switched to the 23 jersey in 2013 to allow Darrelle Revis to keep his regular 24 number. Went on to play five
seasons with the Rams as a hybrid safety/linebacker and then one further season in Pittsburgh before leaving the NFL for good after the 2017 season.
