Replaced Tom Blanchard early in the 1981 season and was with the Bucs for the rest of that season and the 1982 one too. Previously with the Lions during
1979 and the Cardinals in 1980 and then played two seasons in the USFL. Was also briefly on the Buccaneer roster during the later part of the 1977 season
but never saw any action in a game. Wore 5 in his initial time with the Bucs but switched to his regular 9 jersey from 1981 onwards.
