The son of the Bucs' first head coach, John McKay, and elder brother of former GM Rich McKay. Played for his father at USC and spent the first three seasons in franchise history doing the same in Tampa but received a lot of criticism from fellow players who thought he was given preferential treatment in the process. Never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa. He always states in interviews that his claim to fame is being the very first player ever introduced as a Buc.
