Backed-up Doug Williams in 1982 and then became the starter the following season after Williams left to join the USFL. Started the first three games without
any success and was replaced by Jack Thompson. Originally came into the NFL with the Giants in 1977 and spent two years there before playing for both the
Colts and Lions in 1979. Was briefly with the Raiders in 1984 before spending the 1985 season as the No.2 QB for the Orlando Renegades of the USFL.
