Played briefly with the 1988 squad when Ron Hall was injured and made one start in a two-tight end formation against the Buffalo Bills. Was originally a 5th round pick (114th overall selection) of the Houston Oilers in the 1986 draft. Played two seasons for the Oilers and saw action in 12 games but without ever making a reception. Sat out the entire 1989 season and did not make the 1990 team out of camp. Never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa Bay. Was a high school team-mate of fellow Bucs Curt Jarvis and Willie Wyatt who both played in 1989.
