Profile
Started 13 games (missing two through injury and one from being rested) during his first season with the Bucs. Led the team to an 8-5 mark in games he started and was one of the NFL leaders in passer rating all season. His interception % was the lowest by a Buc starting quarterback in franchise history. Long-time NFL veteran QB who signed as a free agent in March 2007 having spent the previous season with the Philadelphia Eagles, leading them to the playoffs when Donovan McNabb went down hurt. Also played for Cleveland and Detroit, and several seasons as a starter in San Francisco having arrived in the NFL via the Canadian Football League.
