Spent four seasons with Tampa Bay but his numbers diminished every season from 1981 when he was part of the three-headed Buc backfield team with James Wilder and Jerry Eckwood. Missed all but four games of his final season in Tampa with a knee injury sustained on a kick return. Set a Buccaneer record in 1983 by scoring touchdowns in five consecutive games. Was originally drafted by the 49ers in 1979 in the 2nd round as a wide receiver and only switched to the backfield on being traded to the Bucs. He competed in the 1976 Olympics finishing 6th in the 110 meter hurdles.
