Played in every game during the first two years of the franchise and made three starts at defensive tackle in 1976 but did not record a single sack in the process. Also played the 1974 World Football League season with the Chicago Fire. Did make a deflection of an Archie Manning pass in New Orleans in 1977 that led to Greg Johnson's TD in the Bucs' first-ever win. Was originally a 3rd round pick of the Baltimore Colts and returned to them after the inaugural World League season to play every game for them in 1975. Never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa Bay.
