Had two spells with the Buccaneers interrupted by a stint in the USFL with the Denver Gold. Was a spot starter in his first stint with the franchise but then returned to start for three more years before moving on to play later for the Falcons and Oilers. Famously kicked an extra point in the 1983 season finale after the Dave Warnke kicking debacle. Went on to a coaching career that included a year with the Bucs in 2008. Originally wore the 68 shirt in his first stint with the Bucs. Returned in 1985 to wear the 69 shirt for the season opener alone and then took over the 66 jersey from then on. Spent a year with the Bucs as an assistant coach in 2008. Passed away in 2016.
