Played in the final two games of the 1976 expansion season. Went to play in the CFL for the Calgary Stampeders and then re-appeared nearly a decade later for the USFL's Orlando Renegaders during their one and only season in 1985. Was famously pictured smiling on the sideline when looking at the scoreboard in the Bucs' 42-0 loss in Pittsburgh and "A real laugher" was the headline next day in the Tampa press. Was originally an 8th round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1976 but never played in the NFL again after leaving Tampa.
