Profile
Saw playing time as a back-up and special team lineman during parts of two seasons with the Bucs. Originally a 16th round pick of the Broncos in 1973, he played four seasons with the Jets and came to the Bucs in a trade in April 1979. Played most of the playoff win over the Eagles in 1979 after starting right tackle Darryl Carlton got hurt. Was nicknamed "Colonel" after the rank of the six-million-dollar man Steve Austin from the TV show as he had an artificial small finger.
