Left as a free agent but returned at the end of his career in 2004 when injuries hit the depth on the Buc defense. Never a true pass rusher, Chidi played the run a lot better from his left end position. As his skills diminished, he was released after the 2000 season and played the following season with the St.Louis Rams, being particularly vocal in his criticism of the Bucs during the Monday Night Game in St.Louis in November 2001. Also saw time with San Francisco and Miami before returning to Tampa Bay. Originally wore the 90 shirt as a rookie and then switched to 72 in 1994. On his return to Tampa in 2004, he took the 95 shirt.
