Atlanta Falcons
All-time record: 18-12

The Bucs and Falcons became division rivals from 2002 onwards as they took their place in the new NFC South division. The two teams have met a lot over the years, mainly due to both franchises struggling during the 1980s and early 1990s and hence winding up with similar schedules and the chance to play each other. One of the Bucs' biggest-ever wins came in the 1987 season opener against the Falcons, whilst the fact that British kicker Mick Luckhurst spent seven seasons (and a 1-3 mark against the Bucs in that time) with Atlanta always adds to the UK interest. The Bucs swept the Falcons in 2002 with the Monte Kiffin-coached defense showing the rest of the NFL how to deal with Michael Vick.
