Arizona Cardinals All-time record: 8-8 The Bucs and the Cardinals (in their three guises in St.Louis and then as the Phoenix and Arizona Cardinals), have met 15 times in all. The most memorable will always be the first one in 1977, the Bucs' first-ever win at home. The 1987 game will remain memorable for the Cardinals' 28-point fourth quarter comeback after trailing 28-3, and the 1997 win in Tampa was special as it took the Bucs to 5-0 to start that season.
