10th round pick 1978 Camp cut 1981
Played three seasons with the Bucs as a back-up linebacker and special teamer including both 1979 playoff games. Originally a defensive lineman in college, he switched positions in the pros and went on to have a successful career in the Canadian Football League after being cut by the Bucs. Made one start in 1979 when Dewey Selmon was injured and recorded his only Tampa Bay sack in the process when he downed Phil Simms. Returned to the NFL in 1985 with the Philadelphia Eagles and played for both them and the Atlanta Falcons before retiring from pro ball after the 1987 season.
