The Bucs’ first defeat in five games led to them losing control of their playoff destiny as they fell back into a tie with the Falcons at 8-7 but behind on tie- breakers. This was their fourth straight loss on national TV in 2024 and came at the hands of a Dallas team eliminated from the post-season earlier in the day. Turnovers and mistakes plagued the team right to the final fumble when a game-winning fieldgoal drive was just under way.
