The 1994 season opened with a whimper rather than a bang as Chicago moved the ball well between the 20-yard lines and outgained the Bucs. But the Bears turned their possessions into three touchdowns whilst the Bucs had to rely on three Michael Husted fieldgoals for their scoring. This was the first Buccaneer game ever covered by FOX Sports who had taken over the NFC regular coverage from the start of the 1994 season.
