Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27 Detroit Lions 23 Sunday 27 September 1992 at The SilverdomeCBS COMMENTARY CREW Verne Lundqvist and Dan Fouts
A wild fourth quarter in Detroit that saw the Bucs win their first road game in 15 attempts. Santana Dotson returned a fumble for a score, only for Mel Gray to return the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to put the Lions back ahead. Vinny then drove the Bucs downfield on an 80-yard drive that ended with a TD pass to Ron Hall. Detroit came back once more and victory was only secured when Milton Mack tackled Brett Perriman at the Tampa 3-yard line as time expired.
