Joe Ferguson replaced the "injured" Vinny Testaverde, everyone realising that the Bucs' No.1 pick was being benched for a week following his recent poor games. Ferguson led the Bucs on two fourth quarter TD drives to narrow a 17-0 Dolphin lead, but Tampa could get no closer than the Miami 39-yard line on a final drive. Both Miami TDs were set up by Tampa fumbles inside their own half, one by Lars Tate and the other by William Howard.
