Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10 Atlanta Falcons 17 Sunday 27 November 1988 at Fulton County StadiumCBS COMMENTARY CREW Steve Zabriskie and Will McDonough
It was wet and muddy in Atlanta but when your quarterback leads your team in rushing, you know you've got a problem with your ground game. The Falcons had no such problems and pounded out 181 yards on the ground, taking the victory early in the fourth quarter when Chris Miller hit Michael Haynes from 37 yards out. New Buc kicker, John Carney, replacing the injured Donald Igwebuike, managed to have fieldgoals blocked on consecutive plays to add to the frustration.
