Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15 Chicago Bears 27 Sunday 20 November 1988 at Tampa StadiumCBS COMMENTARY CREW Tim Ryan and Dan Jiggetts
How can I forget this one? Not just the first NFL game I saw live, but one I watched from the Bucs' bench as a guest of Ray Perkins. The game was never in doubt, the Bears were far too good and the only historical note came when Kerry Goode recorded the first safety in Buc history. Joe Ferguson replaced Vinny in the 4th quarter and Donald Igwebuike was lost for the season with a hamstring pull.
