Brian Sipe became the first QB to ever pass for more than 300 yards against the Bucs and completed 22 of his final 26 passes to lead the Browns to victory at Tampa Stadium. The Bucs had two receivers, Gordon Jones and Jerry Eckwood, gain over 100 yards for the first time in the same game, but after throwing for two fourth quarter scores, Doug Williams ran out of time in a bid to tie the game.
